Cuba: On Its Own Terms
(co-produced with Kathleen Densmore)
Cuba: On Its Own Terms takes a look at Cuba through the eyes of a cross-section of Cuban society teachers, students, cigar factory workers, doctors, community activists, journalists, and retirees. This half-hour program counteracts the stereotypes that many Americans hold about Cuba and helps us understand Cuba's strengths and problems, as well as its hopes and dreams as it tries to exist on its own terms.
